Open Question: How heavy of a lawn roller can a garden tractor pull?
I am building a lawn roller out of a 300 gallon gas tank. I am going to fill it with water. At 8 lbs a gallon i am looking a 2400lbs plus weight of tank(125-200lbs). So Total weight will be about 2500-2700lbs. I have a john deere 3520 that would tug it no problem. But the tires are the industrial tires that are between ag and turf. They dont tear up the yard to bad but still leave their mark. I am afraid that if i use the JD to tug the roller the tractor and roller will just cancel eachother out and not really make the ground smooth. I have also got a case 444 that has turf tires and is a garden tractor but seems to be built more like the bigger tractors.(bigger back tires etc.) My question is would this tug the roller if i made the tounge long enough? Or would the JD with the industrial tires not be that bad and would still roll the yard good?

Moved into a new flat a few months ago, 3 flats we are the bottom floor, the walls and ceiling are quite thick and you generally don't hear any noise. Recently both flats have been throwing parties and as well as pissing off of their flame escape they have decided its fun to toss cigarette buts beer tins and bottles pint glasses and even in some occasions saucepans mop buckets towels and home for sale signs into our back garden and keeping us up half the night. I have a very needy snooze pattern and if it is disturbed it is almost impossible for me to snooze. the landlord has been called and he said he would talk to them but nothing has changed.... Anyone got some advice???? I have already phoned the police and council to no avail.

I started the batch about a week and a half ago. I sliced the cukes (pickling cukes), covered them with brine, added the spicies, weighed them down (I used a vegetable steamer with jars of water for weights), and covered it with a cheese cloth. I am sure that, unlike many theists, if atheists were provided with evidence proving God's existence, they would no doubt start believing. Unfortunately, religion is constructed in such a way that it would be technically more difficult to disprove God than prove him, since every God would ever have to do is arrive down and start talking and show himself. Atheists aren't insane, but I'm every for agnostic atheism. @ G. You probably believe God himself came from nothing, so you must be equally insane in this regard.

Armadillos are taking over my yard! I am out in the country and apt to look every kinds of critters close by, however besides raiding my veggie garden, the opossum on the half shell is rooting up my yard! I thought the kids were doing it! I know because I caught him red handed the other night. My home has white vinyl siding. I have to pressure wash it at least every six months due to tiny black splatters. Two days ago I pressure washed the home and today, the black stuff is back. There are lots of bats around and I "assume" the black splatters are bat dung and not mold since the splatters arrive back so quickly. I know that the bats help receive rid of bugs... so I really don't want to kill them off (or try), and although I don't know a good purpose for the armadillo other than cleaning up scraps, I don't want to kill them either. Other than moving back to the city, I could use some good suggestions on detouring these little vandals... and thank you.

These trainers post to be gold medalist and they treat every puppy's & dogs like this. Id rather not go back. He also likes to chase cats!! I don't really think the clicker is going to work for my dog, He's gone fat ive been over feeding him so im not allowed to give a treat occasionally when he's being good. He's Jack Russell Cross but he looks likehe has bit of staffordshire bull terrier in him. He is an long legged JRT Cross. The clicker May work on his unwanted jumpin up, but i dont think the clicker will help him cease pulling on the guide.
Open Question: Weird dream imagery/things people have said in dreams?
I'm "collecting" aspects of dreams that I'm going to incorporate into my art project, and I was wondering if any of you have anything I can use. Basically, I'm looking for WEIRD dreams, or parts of them; I'm not interested in normal. I need particular images in dreams that are odd, or things people have said in dreams that in normal life would sound bizarre. I wish you know what I mean by that. Like, dream-people say something that makes way more sense in the dream than it would if you said it out noisy. Some examples: "Whilst in a conversation with a daydream..." "One ring for each baby" (this was a dream where I had about 5 babies separately in one week, and I was given a different ring for each baby, which I had to wear) The nice of things that sound bizarre out of context, or even in context. And for the imagery, I mean things like...well, in my dream the other night, I was convinced that this plant with flowers on was my rabbit, and my parents wanted to clip the blossom (ie his head) off. I was holding the plant like a rabbit and stroking it, essentially protecting it from the garden shears. The imagery therefore would be someone holding and stroking a plant with flowers on. My dreams are always weirder than those of anyone else I know, and I'd just use them were it not for the fact that it'd take forever if those were the only ones. So yeah, does anyone have anything similar that I could use? Another thing would be if there happened to actually be a drawing/painting in your dream that you could describe. John-James from BB was in mine last night (amongst many weirder things) drawing a load of different sized birds. Before I left him I took his pencil and wrote "ily xxx" amongst his birds, to which he replied "ily xxxx" in wobbly upside down writing. Hmm... EDIT: Yeah of course I know about Salvador Dali, but that's not what I asked.
Open Question: Caterpillar Care Help Please !?!?
My dad found some caterpillars in the garden, so I put them into a container with some soil, cabbage and grass. The only problem is that two of them seem to have disappeared and the other two seem to have laid eggs and covered them in a nice of web. I know that caterpillars do not lay eggs so I was wondering if anyone could help please :). One of the caterpillars is a luminous green and has appeared to lay green yellow eggs. The other caterpillar is a dark grey green and has appeared to lay dark (almost brown) eggs. Although it could just be poo, but I still don't look understand why they are covered in nice of web, and where the other two have gone?

Open Question: Can smoking black marijuana leaves kill me?
I picked some out of my friends garden and it was wet. I've been smoking it on and off even though its wet as hell (thats what she said). Anyway, so I've been smoking it every week. It was green as hell. And then, i just looked at it and some of the little leaves are black and real moist. Im not asking for intervention or any of that bullshit, I'm asking that if i smoke it, can it hurt me? I got it for free and i already have it. Im not wasting my money, because whether i smoke it or not, i got it for free. AND I DIDNT SAY IT WOULD KILL ME. I said hurt me. Open Question: Places to sell original photography of flowers?
Places to sell original photography of flowers? I absolutely adore photography, and especially taking photos of flowers. I have some beautiful shots, and I was wondering where I should think of marketing or selling them. I have ideas such as to put them on canvas, but I will probably have a few in a frame, but felt canvas may sell better. I also thought of perhaps contacting a blossom and gardening magazine, or the local newspaper. As for places I do not know how much profit would be in it, but farmers market, or a crafts sale in a tiny retirement town I grew up in. Any ideas of places to sell my photography, as well as format of how to sell them (in frames, on canvas, with a quote, greeting cards, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. To show the beauty in life is my passion, and flowers seem to represent a new beginning, how good can arrive out of the most terrible plights. If you have any idea, from either a marketers perspective, or from a consumers perspective (if you would be the type to buy photography or plaques of flowers, or read a gardening magazine), I would absolutely adore to hear from you any ideas. We moved into our current home a year ago, and a previous owner had planted these beautiful flowers that I just couldnt look at enough. They were maybe a foot to a foot and half tall, with beautiful flowers that were like red, yellow maybe blue? Not sure just remember them being of hearty colors, the red is a definite though. Well arrive Spring my husband, going to clip the lawn and tug weeds, (we both know absolute nothing about gardening) thought that they had died because they looked dried out. Needless to say he was in trouble and I miss them terribly this year. Can anyone help me? Open Question: how can i convince my step mum to except who i am?
My step mum is a very Intelligent and privileged lady. But her only downfall is that she tends to understand people too much to the point that she actually only thinks about your faults and what needs to be improved. She gets mad at me for doing nothing, she thinks that kids should be individual and outgoing individuals who take part in teams and plays and such. To be honest this is true, but for me it's not. i am 16 years old and i have got my whole future career sorted out. I like to be alone, i like to relax and i an not a very social person. i don't do any social activity because it does not interest me. i can entertain and educate myself perfectly fine. I do have friends, but i only need one. She has a go at me for doing nothing on a sunny day e.g if i am reading a book in the garden she will accuse me of being lazy. I don't know whats a matter with her. it's not doing me any hurt and it does not bother me that i am not very social. but it does to her how can i make her except me?
Open Question: Cheap late-day tickets at Busch Gardens?
We will be going up to Williamsburg soon. Our favorite part of Busch Gardens is the Fest Haus... we are nice of over the whole standing in lines and fighting crowds for rides. Anyway, we are going to Colonial Williamsburg and thought about dropping into Busch Gardens one evening for dinner. A long time ago I stopped in at Kings Dominion tardy in the day (an impulse visit on a road trip) and was surprised to find that the tickets were very cheap... it was after 6pm I think, giving us only a few hours in the park. Does Busch Gardens have the same deal? What time does it start? ....Thanks
